Paul Falvey Joins the YMCA of Greater Boston

Falvey is Named New Chief Financial Officer

The YMCA of Greater Boston is pleased to announce a new addition to its executive leadership team, with the recent hire of Paul Falvey, of Walpole, to fill the role of Chief Financial Officer. Falvey will oversee the strategies that enable the YMCA of Greater Boston to strengthen its finances and, ultimately, increase the Association’s impact at each of the nonprofit’s 13 community branches.

Mr. Falvey brings more than three decades of experience working in accounting, finance support and strategy for health and human service companies. Previously, he has held positions at PhysicianOne Urgent Care, Royal Health Group, GE Healthcare, Shields Health Group and KPMG. As the Chief Financial Officer at Physician One Urgent Care he was honored as CFO of the Year in 2017 by the Hartford Business Journal for helping to double the company’s number of locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, and thereby serving more patients.

“I have been drawn to organizations and cultures where people are proud of the company and its mission,” says Falvey. “These are organizations that value those they serve and their employees equally and demonstrate attention to high standards of achievement, fairness and humility in their business practices. I see these qualities in the YMCA of Greater Boston and I look forward to helping the nonprofit move forward.”
