Public Meeting About Downtown Walpole Rapid Recovery Plan

Walpole is participating in the Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development’s Rapid Recovery Plan (RRP) program, a fast-moving planning process that will develop an actionable, project-based recovery plan for the Central Business District.

Come learn about the goals of this effort and the recently collected baseline data that will answer questions such as ‘What are the impacts of COVID-19 on downtown businesses?’ and ‘How conducive is the physical environment to meeting the needs of both businesses and customers?

With this data, your input on priorities, and support from subject matter experts, the Town will soon be defining a set of projects aligned with community goals and aimed at supporting recovery of both the physical and business environments downtown.
