Real Estate Team's Donation Campaign to Support Service Dogs
Local realtors, The Weiss Team, commit to campaign in support of Golden Opportunities for Independence who raise and train service dogs

The non-profit organization Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFI) announced today that
local real estate agents, The Weiss Team, will partner with GOFI by donating a
portion of the commission they receive from each real estate transaction during
2021.
GOFI will direct funds generated by the Weiss Team’s commission-donation program towards
the care, training, and placement of future service and community resource
dogs. See these links for some of the great things these dogs can do.

Realtors Steve and Beth Weiss have been involved with GOFI for the past few years. “We
are lucky to have Steve and Beth (and their kids) as part of the GOFI family.
We are thrilled to have them involved as puppy raisers and equally excited to
be the beneficiary of their commission share program!”, said Executive Director
and Founder Pauline Hoegler, RN, BSN, CDPT.
“It is no secret that I love dogs and I have seen the difference a GOFI dog can make. I
feel good about aligning with them and hope my clients will enjoy knowing that working
with us will support a great cause,” says Steve Weiss.

The Weiss family is currently raising their third GOFI pup. They are proud of their two previous dogs who have gone on to be Community Resource Dogs for the towns of Sharon and
Gloucester, MA. When the Weiss Team was looking to give back, their experience
with the local non-profit organization made GOFI the obvious choice. At GOFI,
they will be able to see the results of their contributions.
“Donating a portion of our commission to Golden Opportunities for Independence just feels
right. We have seen what amazing things these dogs can do, and it is our way to
help,” said Beth Weiss. “It’s a winning situation for everyone involved – GOFI,
our clients, and us. The more successful we are, the more we can give to GOFI,
and the more people these amazing dogs will be able to help.”
