Signs of Spring: Elm Street School and Aggie Students Plant Seeds for Garden

Aggie students helped 75 little gardeners plant lettuce seeds last week.

The Elm Street School garden project kicked-off last week with 16 students from Norfolk County Agricultural School helping 75 fifth graders from Elm Street School plant a variety of lettuce seeds.

After the seeds were planted the Aggie students took them back to the school greenhouse to grow.

The students will head back to Elm Street School in a few weeks to transplant the sprouts into pots so they will be ready to plant outside in a new garden in April.
