Sinkhole Appears In Walpole After Water Main Break
The intersection of Union Street and Pleasant Street and Route 1 was closed.
WALPOLE, MA — A sinkhole appeared in town on Tuesday after a water main break in the intersection of Pleasant and Union Street. Police and water department crews worked together to get the situation under control but warned about delays and interruptions to water service.
Walpole police closed the intersection at Union Street and Pleasant Street and Route 1 so that the water department could begin repairs.
