Slow Down: Walpole Police Cracking Down On Speeding

WALPOLE, MA — Walpole drivers should take it slow this spring as the police department deploys extra patrols to crackdown on speeding. The Walpole Police Department is working with State Police and other local police departments in an upcoming Spring Speed Enforcement campaign.

The Spring Speed Enforcement traffic initiative, which runs from March 6th through March 22nd, is funded by a federal grant administered through the Executive Office of Grants and Research.

The department hopes the campaign will also serve as a public awareness campaign to residents about traffic laws and enforcement surrounding them. Police reminded residents to be vigilant of speed zones and traffic laws.
