Absentee Ballots are available for registered voters who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day.

- Any person taking precautions related to COVID-19 in response to a declared state of emergency or guidance from a medical professional, local or state health official or any civil authority.
- Absence from the Town during normal polling hours
- A disability
- Religious belief.
Registered voters must fill out an application which will allow them to complete an absentee ballot at the Town Clerks office or to have one mailed to them. The deadline for applying for an absentee ballot to vote by mail is 5pm Tuesday, June 1, 2021. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot in person is 12 noon Friday, June 4th.
Completed ballots must be received at the Town Clerk’s Office by the close of polls on Election Day.

The Annual Town Election is Saturday, June 5, 2021. Polls open at 8:00 AM and close at 5:00 PM. Precincts 1 & 2 vote at Old Post Road School, Precincts 3,4 & 5 vote at Blackburn Hall and Precincts 6,7 & 8 vote at Fisher School.
The Walpole Town Clerk’s Office is located on the first floor of Town Hall, 135 School Street. Town Hall is open for regular hours Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Tuesdays 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
