Walpole Boys’ Lax Earns 16th Seed in MIAA D2 East State Tourney

The state’s high school boys’ lacrosse tournament pairings are out and Walpole has earned the 16th seed with an 11-7 record this season.

As a result, the Rebels will host a preliminary round MIAA Division 2 East Sectional State Tournament game on Tuesday at 5 p.m. against No. 17 Foxborough.

Walpole is 6-1 in May while Foxborough is 7-2. The two teams did not meet in the regular season.
