WALPOLE, MA — A new winery opened on Friday in Walpole and it's ready to accept wine-tasting reservations. Debevino Winery at 2255 Providence Highway is a one-stop shop for wine lovers who want to learn about what they're drinking.
The winery is founded by the sons and grandsons of Italian immigrants who settled in Roslindale, Boston and brought the craft of winemaking from Italy to their new home. The owners, Al DeNapoli, John, Richard and Paul Bevilacqua, and Dom Arpino have created award winning wines together before opening the commercial winery.
The winery, just off Route 9, includes production facility, a tasting space, informational tours and a space for private events.
