Walpole Health Reports Violations at Several Food Establishments Last Month

A look at health violations in Walpole for the month of April, according to the Walpole Board of Health.

Walpole completed more than 15 health inspections in restaurants during April and early May, and several restaurants and food establishments came out with violations.

While most establishments received warning violations for what are called “best retail practices,” some received harsher violations, requiring immediate remediation.

Clyde’s Barbeque received a violation for improper temperature for food storage in March, but it was immediately corrected.

Subway was checked for having no one employed in the store who knew proper procedures for a choking patron. The problem was corrected in a later inspection when the owner certified several employees.

McDonald’s on 595 Main St. was cited for storing raw beef below cooked bacon.

The British Beer Company, Dunkin Donuts, Jimmy’s, Chili’s, Tee T’s and Mobil were each cited for minor violations under the best retail practices regulations.
