Walpole High Graffiti Asks for Dances to Come Back
The vandalism comes on the heels of a decision to cancel all dances at Walpole High School.
WALPOLE, MA — Police in Walpole are looking for a person who used graffiti to express their displeasure with a decision to cancel all dances at Walpole High School.
At about 2:45 a.m. on Sept. 9, a person walked through the Common Street area with a can of spray paint and spray painted both Walpole High School and the Cumberland Farms on Washington Street with some derogatory statements directed towards the Walpole Police Department, police said.
In photos from the Walpole Police Department, the graffiti included statements such as "Don't cancel our dances" and "**** Walpole pigs."

Walpole Principal Steven Imbusch told WBZthat the dances were canceled because intoxicated kids were pulled off the dance floor at the last five dances. The effected dances include the formal winter ball, a neon glow in the dark party, and a fundraiser for breast cancer.
