Walpole High Listed Among Boston Magazine's Top 50 High Schools

WALPOLE, MA — With classes once again back in session, there's good news for Walpole High School.

In the recently released list of Boston Magazine's top high schools in Greater Boston, WHS came in at 49. The publication recently crunched data for class size, student-to-teacher ratio, test scores and more to determine the rankings.

Dover-Sherborn Regional High School took the top spot, followed by Lexington, Weston, Wayland and Newton South.

Here's how other area schools performed:

• Sharon - 11
• Westwood - 17
• Foxborough - 50
• King Philip - 61
• Canton - 68
• Norwood - 81

Walpole's statistics included:

• Enrollment: 1,172
• Average Class Site: 16.6
• Student:Teacher Ratio: 14.6
• Percent Graduation Rate: 96.6 percent
• Percent to College: 89.3 percent
