Walpole To Hold Town Meeting On Football Field In June

WALPOLE, MA — Walpole is getting creative in the age of coronavirus and social distancing, to ensure the annual Town Meeting is safely done. The town announced on Wednesday, it would hold the Town Meeting out on the high school football field.

The Town Meeting is scheduled for June 20 with a rain date of June 21st. The football field offers more space for Town Meeting members to effectively spread and maintain social distance.

The Moderator will only be addressing three articles which include the FY 21 General operating Budget and Sewer and Water Budgets. All other articles will be referred back to the petitioner.
