Walpole PD Phase In Programs Starting With Car Seat Installs

Walpole police are slowly phasing in the programs that were halted due to the coronavirus.

WALPOLE, MA — Walpole police are slowly phasing in the programs that were put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. One of the first programs to come back is the Child Safety Car Seat Installation program.

The Walpole Police Department announced that the program was back on Friday.

The program helps residents safely and properly install children's car seats. The installation is not only for infant seats but children seats as well. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 325 children under five were saved by car seats in 2017.
