WALPOLE, MA — It's the holiday season and that means the Walpole police are bringing back the annual Santa Cop Toy Drive. This year, the department decided to add a Giving Tree to the holiday festivities.

Walpole Police Dispatchers Union and Rebel, Walpole's community resource dog, will be collecting gifts for local families and children in need this holiday season. Residents can stop by the police station lobby, pick a tag from the Giving Tree and return your unwrapped gift with the tag by December 19th. Along with the Giving Tree, the department will still be accepting donations of new & unwrapped toys. These donations will be distributed to Walpole families in need throughout the season.

If you know of a family in need of assistance, email their information to Brittany Rinn at brinn@walpolepd.com, or Dawn Savery at dsavery@walpolepd.com.
