Walpole Police Investigate Bullet Hole Found In Home

Police believe the incident was random.

WALPOLE, MA — Walpole police are investigating after reports of a home being shot on Saturday morning. Police found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the side of the home near Common Street and South Street.

No one was hurt during the incident and police believe it was random.

A bullet went through the front of the house and was lodged in an interior wall. Police said the hole was most likely made by a low to mid-caliber gun. Witnesses in the area said they heard three to five gunshots around 1:30 a.m.
