Walpole Police Logs: Hit & Run, Smashed Mailbox, Trash All Over Route 1, & More

April 22:

6:34 a.m. – Callers reported a trash bag on Route 1 by the Walpole Mall in the left turn lane. Officer Wilmot responded and reported the bag was struck and trash was all over Route 1. State Highway was notified. 

April 27:

8:49 a.m. – 911 calls for motor vehicle accident with injury on West Street. Medflight was enroute.

April 28:

12:45 a.m. – Foxborough police reported a vehicle heading the wrong way on Route 1. Vehicle turned right onto Water Street and was heading north on Washington Street.

10:24 a.m. – Resident reported his mailbox was smashed overnight on Harrison Avenue.

4:47 p.m. – Report of hit and run in a lot on Route 1.
