Former Walpole Police Officer Accused Of Groping Colleague's Wife
The former deputy chief of police is accused of drunkenly assaulting his colleagues wife while she drove him home from a bar.
WALPOLE, MA — Walpole's former deputy chief of police, Christopher MacKenzie, was charged with assault and battery on a person over 14 —he is accused of groping a colleagues wife while she drove him home from a bar one night last year, according to WHDH. Apparently, MacKenzie was drunk and the woman offered to drive him home.
MacKenzie was at the Raven's Nest in May 2019 when he ran into his colleague who was celebrating his birthday with his wife and friends. The group noticed that MacKenzie was too drunk to drive himself home and his colleague's wife offered to drive MacKenzie home, WHDH reported.
During the car ride, MacKenzie grabbed the woman's vagina and thigh and made verbal advances toward her, according to court documents obtained by WHDH.
