Walpole Police Recover Surveillance Footage From April Shooting
The shooting on April 4 didn't injure anyone but left bullet holes in two homes.
WALPOLE, MA — Walpole police have a new piece of evidence in the investigation of a shooting on Common Street earlier this month. Police obtained surveillance footage of the car involved in the shooting and are asking for the public's help in identifying the car involved.
The shooting happened around 1:15 a.m. on April 4 at the intersection of Common Street at South Street. According to police, the car drove down Route 1 south and on Common Street to West Street and away from Walpole Center on West Street towards Spring Street after the shooting.
Two homes on Common Street were hit by the bullets. No one was hurt during the incident and police believe it was random.

Police said the car looks like it may be a metallic, possibly gold or silver, a four door Toyota Camry/Ford Fusion-type sedan. Police said it appears that a light skinned suspect was sitting in the front passenger side seat.
