Walpole's Ryan Saulnier Named New Cambridge Football Coach

Saulnier takes over Cambridge Rindge & Latin after spending time in Walpole as both a player and coach for the Rebels.

Walpole's Ryan Saulnier is moving on from the Rebels' football program to take the head coaching job at Cambridge Rindge & Latin, according to the Bostonherald.com.

Saulnier won two Super Bowls (1989 and 1991) as a Walpole High School wide receiver and defensive back and later joined the Rebels' coaching staff after graduating from Trinity College.

Saulnier has served as Walpole's defensive coordinator for the past four seasons and helped lead the team to a Super Bowl championship in 2008. In 2012, Saulnier coached a defensive unit that posted six shutouts enroute to a 10-1 season.
