Walpole's Debevino Winery Re-Opens
The winery's new patio space will be open to guests.
WALPOLE, MA — Walpole's Debevino Winery is reopening and safely welcome guests back to its new outdoor patio space on Friday. The family-owned winery's new patio features ample seating in a comfortable rustic atmosphere while the new menu offerings feature a selection of charcuterie boards and frozen wine slushies.
The winery said it will implement strict safety measures and cleaning protocols in accordance with the guidance of the CDC, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and local Walpole health officials. In order to safely serve the community and maintain proper social distancing, Debevino will limit the number of guests exclusively on its patio for the foreseeable future and said it will implement the following:
- All patio seating will be spaced six feet apart and each table will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each party.
- Each party will be provided with single-use menus and tasting cups.
- All staff will wear protective masks at all times and practice frequent, thorough hand-washing including between handling physical items belonging to individual parties, which will be limited in itself. .
- Staff will frequently disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, restroom, POS terminals, and countertops.
- Employees will be screened prior to each shift, reminded of proper personal hygiene practices, and encouraged to stay home if any symptoms are present.
- Reservations are encouraged in advance and parties will be limited to six guests and a 90-minute limit.
To further ensure health and safety, guests will be required to wear masks when they arrive, which may be removed after they are seated. Guests will have to wear their masks when a server is bringing an order to their table, and when not seated at their table, such as if they need to use the restroom.
