What You Need to Know About Patriots Training Camp at Gillette Stadium

Feeling restless for some football and tired of the offseason distractions? The Patriots preseason kicks off Thursday with the start of training camp! A reminder that we are closer to the return of the NFL, training camp gives fans a chance to check out new members of the Patriots, watch the team up close, and even grab an autograph or two at the end of the day.

A popular event every year, here is what you need to know about the Patriots Training Camp at Gillette Stadium:

The Location

Training camp sessions are held on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium

The Price

The best part about training camp is that it’s free! There is no price of admission to watch any of the public practice sessions.

Parking

Fans coming from the north are encouraged enter at the P6 entrance and those from the south should use the P8 entrance. Lot 20 and 22 are the primary parking areas for training camp, but those parking in the Patriot Place lots may take the walkways to the practice fields.

Training Camp Schedule

As of July 29, sessions for July 30 - Aug. 2 have been announced. Below are the hours for training camp. Below is the announced scheduled with more dates to be announced at the Patriots Training Camp website:

  • July 30: Practice 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Fan Zone 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • July 31: Practice 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Fan Zone 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 1: Practice 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Fan Zone 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m
  • Aug. 2: Practice 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Fan Zone 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m

Rain Policy

If the Patriots choose to practice inside due to the weather or poor field conditions, those practices will be closed to the public. When the weather is poor, fans are encouraged to check the Patriots Training Camp website or call 508-549-0001 for changes in the practice schedule.

Prohibited Items

No one wants to be that person who brings something they shouldn’t. Here is what you should leave at home or in their car and not take to the stadium.

  • Animals, except service animals assisting those with disabilities.
  • Any alcoholic beverages
  • Beach balls
  • Bullhorns and air horns
  • Coolers
  • Fireworks or pyrotechnics
  • Flags will be allowed, however flag poles over two feet in length will not be allowed.
  • Helium balloons
  • Illegal drugs or any other illegal substance
  • Laser pens
  • Noise makers
  • Video Cameras
  • Weapons of any kind (including knives)
  • Unmanned Aircraft Systems
  • Remotely Controlled Model Aircraft
  • Selfie sticks
  • GoPro Cameras
  • Any other item deemed inappropriate by stadium management
