WALTHAM, MA β The cost of renting a one-bedroom apartment in Waltham has drastically decreased over the last year, according to the Zumper Boston Metro Area Report released June 30.
The report shows that Waltham's rent cost has decreased by 10.3% since June 2020, with a one-bedroom apartment averaging at $1,750 this year.
Despite the decline, Waltham experienced a 2.9% increase in rent last month, ranking as the 14th most expensive Eastern Massachusetts community to live in.

The average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in these communities was $1,827 last month.
