45 Percent Of Watertown Has Received At Least One Vaccine Dose

Over 75 percent of Watertown residents over age 75 have received both doses, according to the state's data.

WATERTOWN, MA β€” More than 1,800 of Watertown's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Roughly a quarter of Watertown residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 22 percent last week.

Roughly 19 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. About six in 10 residents ages 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and 21 percent in that age group have received just their first dose.

Watertown reported 93 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "yellow" zone.
