WATERTOWN, MA — George Clooney is the latest star spotting in Watertown. The film star was seen on Friday directing a scene at Bemis Park off Waltham Street.

Clooney was reportedly shooting a scene for his new film "The Tender Bar" according to WBZ News. While Clooney is staying behind the camera for the film, the star-studded cast includes Cambridge's own Ben Affleck, "American Horror Story" star Lily Rabe and "X-Men" actor Tye Sheridan.

The movie is based on a memoir written by J.R. Moehringer that follows a boy growing up on Long Island looking for father figures within his uncle's bar, according to IMDb.
