ICYMI: Restaurant Openings, Closings in Watertown
Wednesday saw news of a reported closing on Mt. Auburn Street and a new opening of a Brazilian restaurant.

WATERTOWN, MA β Restaurant news in Watertown was abuzz Wednesday, with reports of a new opening and recent closing in town.
First, the bad news.
Boston Restaurant Talk reports Jasmine Taste of Persia on Mt. Auburn Street has closed. Several sources told the site the space has been locked up and papered over, and a "For Rent" sign has been displayed out front.

No word yet on why it closed, but a quick Google search seems to indicate it is shuttered for good.
On a lighter note, Wednesday saw news of the opening of a Brazilian eatery on Lexington Street. According to the Watertown TAB, Steam Flavor opened last week in the former Power CafΓ© space with a buffet-style menu offering beef, pork, chicken and a salad bar.
