Tonight: Narcan Training in Watertown

Attendees will receive training and a free voucher for Narcan, a drug used to combat opiate overdoses.

Watertown, MA – Free Narcan training will be held tonight in Watertown.

The session begins at 6:30 p.m. at Square Medical Group, 124 Watertown St., Suite 2D. Training is free, and attendees will also receive a voucher for Narcan.

According to the FDA, if Narcan is administered quickly to an overdose patient, it can counteract the overdose effects within two minutes. However, Narcan is not a substitute for medical care, and the FDA recommends that patients seek further medical attention.
