Watertown's Bright Horizons Family Solutions was one of four Massachusetts companies named by Fortune Magazine's 100 best to work for.
WATERTOWN, MA β Watertown's Bright Horizons Family Solutions was one of four Massachusetts companies named by Fortune Magazine's 100 best companies to work for. The business magazine, in partnership with analytics firm Great Place to Work, released its annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in the United States.
Bright Horizons Family Solutions is an organization that provides child care, elder care and help for education and careers -- tools used by more than 1,000 of the worldβs top employers. Located at 200 Talcott Avenue, the company is based in Watertown.
The company ranked 75th on Fortune 500's list, which is a few pegs down from it's spot of 66 last year. In total, the company has 23,499 employees β 94.4 percent of those employees are women and 50.7 percent are minorities.

In 2019, Bright Horizons made $2.062 billion in revenue.
"Last year the company sprang to action to help families at the U.S.-Mexico border. The Bright Horizons Foundation immediately began plans to create a "Bright Space" at the border to help families in need and raised $25,000 toward the effort through company and employee donations."

To be considered for the list, companies submitted an application detailing over 200 data points describing their HR programs and practices. Great Place to Work, an analytics firm that has partnered with Fortune to create the list for the past 23 years, then conducted an anonymous survey of each company's workforce.
The other three Bay State companies that made the list include Bain & Co. in Boston, Kronos in Lowell and HubSpot in Cambridge.
