WATERTOWN, MA β Watertown's Farmer's Market is back for summer, with a few coronavirus-related restrictions. The market opened on June 17 and is open on Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Some of the new precautions the market is taking this year to ensure a safe shopping experience for all include one way traffic flow through the market space. Shoppers will have the ability to loop back around to revisit any vendors they may have missed. Shoulder bags will be allowed to carry items purchased home. Shoppers can't put bags on tables, to avoid possible contamination.
Shoppers are also urged to designate one person in their home to do the shopping. "This leaves room for more people to come to the market. If you need to bring your kids, please keep them at arms length," the market website reads.
