Watertown Gymboree To Close

The children's clothing retailer filed for bankruptcy last month.

WATERTOWN, MA – Five Gymboree locations are closing as the chain makes some heavy changes in bankruptcy. Gymboree, a children's clothing retailer, filed for bankruptcy last month. It has 18 locations across Massachusetts.

The locations that will be closing are in the Cape Cod Mall (Hyannis,) The Village at Colony Place (Plymouth,) the Square One Mall (Saugus,) Silver City (Taunton,) and the Arsenal Mall (Watertown).

Gymboree is closing 350 stores as part of its restructure. Store-closing sales will begin immediately.
