Watertown To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Swampscott

The Raiders take on the Swampscott Big Blue in the first round of the football tournament.

WATERTOWN, MA – Watertown heads to the MIAA Football North Division 5 tournament, taking on Swampscott Oct. 28.

The Raiders, seeded sixth with a 3-4 record, will kick off the tournament against the third-seeded Big Blue, who enter the tournament with a 6-1 record. Watertown goes up against Swampscott Saturday, Oct. 28 at 12 p.m. at Swampscott.

The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
