Watertown Resident to Bike 62 Miles for Alzheimer's Research

Doug Orifice will participate in the Ride to End Alzheimer's June 11 in Rye, NH.

WATERTOWN, MA - A Watertown local will bike 62 miles next month to raise money for Alzheimer's research.

Doug Orifice will participate in the Ride to End Alzheimer's, which he first joined in 2013 after losing his grandfather to the disease.

"After giving the eulogy at my Grandfather’s funeral I made the decision to fight back against this disease," Orifice said in a press release. "Because I've seen the seriousness of this disease firsthand, I would like to do my part in making a difference."
