Watertown's Stellina Restaurant Closing Permanently

Stellina Restaurant has been in Watertown for 34 years.

WATERTOWN, MA β€” The coronavirus pandemic closures are responsible for another restaurant throwing in the towel β€” Stellina Restaurant in Watertown announced it will permanently close after this Saturday.

The restaurant has been in Watertown for 34 years and owners Frank and Ginnie Curcio have stood at the helm of the ship for the life of the restaurant. Located at 34 Main Street in Watertown, the restaurant and its owners were some of the first to witness and part of Watertown's restaurant boom. With its last day of business planned for Aug. 22, Stellina invited customers to celebrate its time in town during its last week in operation.

Stellina will be open this week from Tuesday through Saturday for outdoor dining and takeout in the evenings.

Stellina served Italian food with simple ingredients that bore award-winning flavors, like the Warm Tomato Salad with Goat Cheese, a winner of Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston for three years.
