Weather Alert: Watertown Public Schools Closed Monday
Due to heavy overnight snowfall, there will be no school Monday, March 21.
WATERTOWN, MA - Students in Watertown - you have one more day to sleep in.
All public schools in Watertown are closed Monday due to heavy snowfall during the morning commute.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch over the weekend for northeastern Massachusetts; snow was expected to fall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and continue overnight into Monday morning.
Some areas were likely to see four to seven inches, forecasters said.
Closures are for the following schools:
- Early Steps Preschool
- Lowell Elementary
- Hosmer Elementary
- Cunniff Elementary
- Watertown Middle School
- Watertown High School
