West Coast Chain Tender Greens Opening At Arsenal Yards

The California-based restaurant chain has signed a 3,017-square-foot lease at the upcoming dining and entertainment complex in Watertown.

WATERTOWN, MA – California-based restaurant chain Tender Greens is the latest tenant to lease space at Arsenal Yards. The chain signed a 3,017-square-foot lease at the upcoming dining and entertainment complex, developers announced this week.

Tender Greens opened its first location in Culver City, CA in 2006 and today has nearly 30 locations spanning California, Massachusetts and New York. Each restaurant is helmed by its own executive chef and features unique dΓ©cor inspired by the local community.

Menu items include plates served with grilled, humanely raised meats, creamy Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and greens, an array of seasonal salads and chef-driven specials that use seasonal ingredients.

"Boston continues to be one of my favorite cities and I’m thrilled that Bostonians love our food as much as we do," Denyelle Bruno, CEO of Tender Greens, said in a statement. "We’re approaching a period of rapid expansion, diversifying our teams and bringing good, quality food to more cities across the U.S."

The first openings at Arsenal Yards are planned for late 2019. The neighborhood will be comprised of over 1 million square feet of development, including 250,000 square feet of shopping, dining and fitness space, 200,000 square feet of creative office and life science space, 300 residences, a 150-room hotel, a seven-screen movie theater and a grocery store.
