Who's The Spookiest Of Them All: Watertown Mall Scarecrow Contest
The winning scarecrow is said to be "outstanding in his field."
WATERTOWN, MA — Halloween is more than just candy and costumes, but a time for fun traditions, like the scarecrow contest held at the Watertown Mall. This year marks the 28th year of the mall contest.
People, businesses and organizations from around town entered into the contest, hoping to get one of the three winning spots. Shoppers can view the displays in the back hallway, near Target, through Oct. 31.
The three winners get gift certificates as their prize: third place earns a $50 Watertown Mall gift certificate, second place receives a $100 gift certificate and first place wins $200 gift certificate.
