Zarouhi Aroyan, 91, of Watertown, Member of St. James Armenian Church

Zarouhi (Hamalian) Aroyan of Watertown died on Jan. 5 at the age of 91.

She was the wife of Sarkis Aroyan; mother of Mardiros Aroyan and his wife Eugenie of California, Sossi Aroyan of Watertown and Kourken Aroyan and his wife Nora of Lexington; grandmother of Tamar and Garni Aroyan; sister of Sarkis Hamalian of Canada, Onnig Hamalian of California and the late Hagop Hamalian and Keghanoush Chinchinian, according to an obituary on the Giragosian Funeral Home website.

Services will be at St. James Armenian Church, 465 Mt. Auburn St. in Watertown, on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Watertown. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to St. James Armenian Church.
