Bacon Street Bridge Testing In Wellesley
Work will take place overnight on November 1 and November 2 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

The Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) and its contractors will test micropile foundations on the Bacon Street Bridge.

The bridge is between Route 135/Central Street and Morses Pond.
Work will take place overnight on Sunday, November 1 and Monday, November 2 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

It will be limited to the railway area and not impact car, pedestrian, or bike traffic. The work will require lights and limited use of heavy machinery.
Once completed, the new bridge will carry the Framingham/Worcester Commuter Rail Line over Bacon Street in Wellesley.
