Coronavirus Testing Expands To Wellesley CVS On Route 9
The CVS on Route 9 in Wellesley is offering self-swab testing.

WELLESLEY, MA — Testing for COVID-19 expanded in Wellesley last week, with testing offered at the CVS on Route 9 as well.
The CVS, located at 984 Worcester Street, is offering self-swab testing for COVID-19, but patients have to register in advance at CVS.com to schedule a testing appointment.
Wellesley is still considered a "low risk" community by the state, despite an increase in COVID-19 cases. The town's total COVID-19 case count is 299, according to state data published Oct. 14. Wellesley had tested a total of 45,960 people.

The town is also taking flu season as seriously as COVID-19 testing. The Health Department is offering one more drive-thru flu clinic for residents 18 years old and over on Oct. 20 at the Wellesley Municipal Light Plant.
Clinics are appointment only and residents must sign up in advance online at www.wellesleyma.gov/fluclinic Everyone is urged to be vaccinated to help lessen the impact of flu cases during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
