The Cultural Council is the local presence of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) and supports community-based projects in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. The WCC awards annual grants to programs that enrich the culture and quality of life in Wellesley.
Past grant recipients include the Wellesley Women Artisans, Wellesley Historical Society, Electrical Box Public Art Program, Wellesley Choral Society, and more.

Council members are appointed by the Select Board to three year terms beginning on July 1.
Interested candidates are encouraged to complete the Volunteer Form on the Town website or email the Cultural Council indicating your interest and qualifications.
