Free Outdoor Movies At Wellesley College All Summer
Wellesley College is hosting four free outdoor showings, including movies like "Back to the Future" and "A Wrinkle in Time."
WELLESLEY, MA — Looking for somewhere fun to take the kids? Or are you looking for a cheap, but fun date night? Wellesley College is launching its fourth annual "Davis Museums Summer Film Series" Thursday night.
The showings and parking are free, and this year's movies, "A Wrinkle in Time," "Back to the Future,""WALL-E,"and "The Fifth Element," movies all explore the theme of futuristic technology. The museum chose the theme as a way to anticipate the opening of its fall exhibition, "Fatimah Tuggar: Home Horizons.
The summer events start at 7 p.m., for each of the four nights, with museum gallery tours and art activities, and then the movie beginning at dusk. There will also be free snacks and beer (21 and older). Bring you own folding chairs and blankets. If it's rains, still come; the show will move to Collins Cinema.
