Showtime's SMILF Is Apparently Filming In Wellesley

The crew for the show about a single mom living in South Boston has been spotted in Wellesley.

WELLESLEY, MA — Parts of the second season of Showtime's SMILF might look familiar, likely because some of the show is apparently being filmed in Wellesley.

Word has it that the filming crew has been making their way around town, spending time specifically at a home on Pembroke Road that's on the market for about $3.8 million, according to the Swellesley Report.

In case you're not a fan, the Golden Globe-nominated SMILF stars Frankie Shaw, Miguel Gomez, Samara Weaving, and Rosie O'Donnell and is about a single mom played by Shaw living in South Boston. We'd tell you what SMILF stands for, but we can't publish that here so you'll have to use Google.
