String of Car Break-Ins Around Wellesley Area
Police are urging Wellesley residents to avoid leaving valuables out in plain sight.

WELLESLEY, MA - Another car was hit in what appears to be a string of vehicle break-ins around the Wellesley area, Wellesley police said.
The car was parked at 245 Washington St. when it was broken into between 7 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. Friday, police said.
The burglar smashed the windows of the locked car and snatched a bag containing a computer and sporting equipment, according to police.

Local police departments have been reporting a series of car break-ins in Weston, Medfield, Millis and Medway. Most of these incidents have occurred during daylight hours in populated areas.
“Please keep this in mind when you park your car. Hide your valuable out of sight, and lock your car, no matter where it is parked. Report any suspicious activity via 911 immediately!” Wellesley police wrote in a statement.
