The Department of Public Works has extended its #ThinkBlueWellesley social media contest through Monday, September 28th with revisions to its contest submittal methods.

Residents who capture and submit qualifying photos that fulfill any of the four contest categories for stormwater topics in Town are eligible for a random drawing for twenty $100 Amazon gift cards.

Contestants must upload a photo to Facebook or Instagram that pertains to one of the four contest categories, using the #ThinkBlueWellesley hashtag, and tag the Town of Wellesley (@TownOfWellesley on Instagram and Facebook) in the photo or caption.
After uploading the entry, the contestant must send an email to the address specifically created for this contest (ThinkBlueWellesley@Wellesleyma.gov) with the uploaded photo and social media username for the submission.

Contest Categories:
Stormwater relevant subjects such as storm drains, runoff areas, wet meadows Bodies of water (puddles to ponds) or other places that water goes, family walks in the rain, and more:
Examples of toxic-free, considerate lawn care practices
Water pollution reducing activities such as picking up dog poop
