Town Of Wellesley Bacon Street Closed Starting On April 11

A full weekend of demolition work is planned for the area beginning on Friday, April 23 at 8 p.m. and continuing until Monday, April 26.

Work on the MBTA railroad bridge at Bacon Street and Route 135 (Central Street) continues. Beginning on Sunday, April 11, the MBTA will be closing a portion of Bacon Street nightly, generally starting at 8 p.m. and reopening the roadway at 5 a.m. the following morning. Traffic on Route 135 will not be affected by this closure. There will be a detour in place for Beacon Street.
