Veterans' Day Observances In Wellesley

Wellesley's annual Veterans' Day ceremony will take place but is closed to the public.

All Town of Wellesley departments are closed on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans' Day.

The Recycling and Disposal Facility is also closed.

Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, November 12. Most municipal buildings remain closed to the public or open only limited hours due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Town operations continue and staff members are working regular hours assistanting residents.

Wellesley's annual Veterans' Day ceremony will take place but is closed to the public. Watch the event later this week on Wellesley Public Media.

Take part in the Wellesley Celebrations Committee "Salute to Veterans 2020" featuring window displays with memorabilia from World War II and other wars.

Exhibits are located in storefronts along Central Street, Church Street, and Washington Street.
On Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m. the Boston Firemen's Band will hold an outdoor performance in front of 77 Central Street, with a special appearance by the Wellesley High School cheerleaders.

Wear your mask and enjoy safe, outdoor family events.
