Weather Alert: Wellesley Public Schools Delayed Monday
Due to overnight snowfall, public schools in the district will open two hours late.
WELLESLEY, MA - All public schools in Wellesley will be delayed two hours and morning preschool has been canceled Monday due to overnight snowfall.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch over the weekend for northeastern Massachusetts; snow was expected to fall from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and continue overnight into Monday morning.
Some areas were likely to see four to seven inches, forecasters said.
Delays are for the following schools:
- Hunnewell Elementary School
- John D. Hardy Elementary School
- Joseph E. Fiske Elementary School
- Katharine Lee Bates Elementary School
- Schofield Elementary School
- Sprague Elementary School
- Upham Elementary School
- Wellesley Middle School
- Wellesley High School
