Wellesley Child Rape Suspect Added To Most Wanted List
Wellesley police obtained warrants in 2013 for the man accused of several sexual assaults on a child under 14.

WELLESLEY, MA — A wanted man in Wellesley was just added to the Massachusetts Sate Police Most Wanted list. Mariano Pereyra, 62, is charged with rape of a child with force and several counts of sexual assault.
In late March 2013, Wellesley Police obtained two arrest warrants for Pereyra with several charges including indecent assault and battery on a child under 14. Pereyra is accused of committing the assaults over an extended period of time.
State police believe Pereyra knows he is wanted by police and actively hiding or running from authorities. Pereyra's criminal history in Massachusetts extends past the assault charges and includes firearm, breaking and entering, and stolen property convictions.

Pereyra is 5'8" about 210 pounds, with black and gray hair and brown eyes. He has a visible lump on his chest.
He has training as a massage therapist, and has ties throughout Boston, as well as to Attleboro, Watertown, Wellesley, Pawtucket, R.I., and the Dominican Republic.
