One local family is getting their house straight after it was struck by lighting this afternoon.
According to Captain Brady, the strike occurred at 84 Pleasant Street and knocked out power to the house.
"The strike blew a large hole in the driveway and knocked out power to the house," Brady said. "We were unable to return electrical service to the whole house."

There was no fire caused by the strike.
