The Wellesley Muncipal Light Plant is working with Energy New England (ENE) to offer remote home energy assessments for residents.
An energy audit is done by using the video feature on iPhones or Androids. Energy assessors capture information about use and waste in homes and create an individualized energy savings plan. This plan is reviewed with residents and cost-saving improvements are recommended. LED bulbs and other energy saving measures are mailed or delivered to homeowners to install.
